Holographic moving mirrors

چکیده

Moving mirrors have been known as tractable setups modeling Hawking radiation from black holes. In this paper, motivated by recent developments regarding the hole information problem, we present extensive studies of moving in conformal field theories employing both theoretic well holographic methods. Reviewing first usual formulation mirrors, construct their gravity dual resorting to AdS/BCFT construction. Based on our formulation, then calculate time evolution entanglement entropy various mirror models. doing so, mainly focus three different setups: escaping mirror, which models constant emanating an eternal hole; kink evaporating formed collapse; and double two constantly radiating particular, computing entropy, show that gives rise ideal Page curve. We also find interesting phase transition arises case mirror. Furthermore, argue provide evidence for interpretation terms dimensional Liouville gravity. discuss connection between quantum energy conditions

1 Notes on moving mirrors

The Davies-Fulling (DF) model describes the scattering of a massless field by a non-inertial mirror in two dimensions. In this paper, we generalize this model in two different ways. First, we consider partially reflecting mirrors. We show that the Bogoliubov coefficients relating inertial modes can be expressed in terms of the frequency dependent reflection factor which is specified in the rest...

Decaying D-branes and Moving Mirrors

We present an exact time-dependent solution to the effective D-brane worldvolume theory which describes an inhomogeneous decay of a brane-antibrane system. We compute the quantum energy flux induced by the particle creation in this inhomogeneous and time-dependent background. We find that this calculation is essentially equivalent to that of the moving mirror system. In the initial stage, the e...

Moving Mirrors , Black Holes , Hawking Radiation and All

In this talk I show how to canonically quantize a massless scalar field in the background of a Schwarzschild black hole in Lemâitre coordinates and then present a simplified derivation of Hawking radiation based upon this procedure. The key result of quantization procedure is that the Hamiltonian of the system is explicitly time dependent and so problem is intrinsically non-static. From this it...

Moving average process underlying the holographic-optical-tweezers experiments.

We study the statistical properties of recordings that contain time-dependent positions of a bead trapped in optical tweezers. Analysis of such a time series indicates that the commonly accepted model, i.e., the autoregressive process of first-order, is not sufficient to fit the data. We show the presence of a first-order moving average part in the dynamical model of the system. We explain the ...
